Fortway Farm Opened Wednesday 13th May

Revised RULES for the re-opening of club waters during the 
restricted period due to Covid -19

Members are responsible for awareness of and compliance with National, Local and Club rules / restrictions relating to Covid-19 when fishing or visiting Club waters.  Additional requirements may apply at Fortway’s Farm.

Covid-19 related Rules are posted on Websites and displayed at Club managed Waters.

1. Members MUST be in possession of the current Valid Membership Book (2020-2021 membership book from 1st June) and a current Environment Agency Rod Licence.
2. Please be aware of all Clubs Rules.
3. Members should read all appropriate guidelines issued by Angling Trust and all information on the LEVAS website and Facebook site.
4. Members who may have Covid-19 symptoms are asked to stay away until they are tested clear.
5. Members are reminded that they should travel alone unless with someone from the same household.
6. ALL members MUST either wear protective gloves or have a bottle of sanitiser with them. 
7. Members are instructed to park their vehicles sensibly with regards to others. Remember to maintain social distancing in the car park.
8. Members are instructed to go straight to their peg quickly and as safely as possible. Please no stopping to chat to fellow anglers.
9. To ensure that we comply with the social distancing rules members must keep at least 1 to 2 meters from each other unless you are from the same household.

10. One member per peg ONLY.

11. Only Members who are fishing, or Bailiffs can be at the venue. (or non-fishing members from the same household, sat at the same peg)

12.You MUST NOT wander around the pond.

13. Club bailiffs will be present at times. Any member contravening these rules may be asked to leave the fishery. Be aware that you can be asked to show anybody your membership book during any time that you are using club waters. Please also display your parking card in your vehicle.

14. We will now allow the use of keepnets but only on the Moat and at Ashpole. No Carp in any keepnets at any time. (Unless previously authorised by committee, or if using in an organised match that has been organised by the match secretary only)

15. The toilet at Thurlaston in the car park is closed to Anglers and is for the ladies in the stables only; please respect this and take a leak in a nearby bush. (Ladies and people with medical conditions are exempt to this rule, but you must adhere to the strict sanitising routines – provide your own sanitiser as per point 6 and clean down all touch points after use)

17. Do not approach the house unless asked to, please respect the privacy of the landowners.

18. Entry to Ashpole. Everyone must sanitise their hands before using the keypad. The club will have a bottle there for you to use upon entry.

19. The 2 car park gates will remain open so please do not close.

20. Matches will have to be booked on prior to the day of the contest, this also ensures prize money to be organised prior to the match in sanitary conditions. Match secretary will do the draw for every angler that is booked. Information can be found in your membership book to book in for matches.

Please be aware that if rules are broken this could possibly lead to us losing our waters.
